I am a drow, raised in Cormanthor and trained as a rogue. I currently travel with three companions, a moon elf, Seledra, with her wolf Selune; a half-orc, Kronk; and a human, Magnos. Seledra and I have... an understanding; we watch each other's backs. Kronk is noisy but tolerable. The human I abhor. I like to maintain a low profile and keep my wits about me, but my companions make that difficult sometimes.

History

Ralenthra is a surface drow of the Auskovyn clan, a nomadic clan of Vhaeraun worshippers, moving from place to place through the forests of Cormanthor. Ralenthra was in training to be a ranger, but since she's small and weak for a drow female, she got by mostly by sneaking around and cheating. One night, while sneaking around the forest, um, preparing for a training test, she discovered an Eilistraee cult in the middle of a ritual. At the urging of her father's sister, she eventually decided to join them. She was about 100 years old at the time. About five years later, while getting closer to the end of her training, the cult was busted by none other than her father, Vilryn Ilphukiir, a priest of Vhaeraun. Her already well-developed skill in sneaking around helped her escape the round-up, but she had to leave Cormanthor, seeing as her father recognized her. She managed to find her way to one of the portals into the Underdark that House Jaelre, the other primary Cormanthor group, used to get out of Menzoberranzan. The portals actually lead to Blingdenstone, a ruined svirfneblin city, but Ralenthra managed to stumble her way out of the abandoned city and around the Underdark to get to Menzoberranzan, where she's lived for about 15 years.

She set herself up as a mercenary, initially working through a "mercenary recruiter" named Denin. Having done a particularly good job for a priestess of House Drii Upoth, she was put on that house's permenent payroll as a thief and spy. She particularly specializes in information; she has a slick tongue and knows ho to manipulate people. She is not above seducing her targets in order to find out what she need to know or get what she's there to get. Calling herself Mayurra Aerynrae, she was involved in several short-lived, underground, so to speak, Eilistraee cults, using her skills to pass messages and procure resources. However, she lived and worked primarily under the assumed name Corael Sh'aneth (though she probably has other aliases as well), and since she is very good at disguise, no one ever connected the two. She is, however, on the run from her former employer for having botched an assassination job. On purpose, but no one knows that but her.

**Special note: in case you couldn't tell, this is all fictional. No one is really stealing things or enslaving goblins or shooting people with crossbows.
